Soo Ahn believes that food, at its best, is a culinary adventure and pushes boundaries in his cooking to offer unique concepts for guests to indulge in. He takes the drive and competitiveness he learned from his first career as a professional golfer and translates that into the kitchen.
With a distinguished career in Michelin-starred kitchens, he earned a Michelin Star as the Executive Chef at Band of Bohemia in Chicago. Soo also gained national acclaim as a standout contestant on Season 21 of Top Chef. Currently, as the Executive Chef at Adalina, he and his team are reinventing Italian classics in Chicago’s Gold Coast, infusing them with distinctive flavors and innovative techniques.
